Adult Tickets:  $30 Advance purchase through October 4th, then $35 online starting October 5th & at the door.

Youth Tickets:  $15 ages 7–15, 6 and under are free.

Individual Bowls:  $30 — for purchase only (not a dinner ticket).

If you can’t join us for the dinner, you can still support Foodworks by purchasing a bowl—they also make thoughtful gifts! Every ticket purchased helps stock the shelves at Foodworks for our neighbors facing food insecurity—that’s the heart of this event. For the first time in over a decade, we’re adjusting the ticket price to keep pace with rising food costs, the same pressures driving more families across the Brattleboro region to seek support from Foodworks. This small increase ensures we can keep showing up for our neighbors facing tough choices between rent, medicine, and groceries. Thank you for standing with us to help ensure every neighbor has access to healthy, nutritious food.

Empty Bowls has become more than just a fundraiser; it’s a tradition that fosters community togetherness around a shared goal: ensuring that our neighbors have access to nutritious food.

The Empty Bowls dinner unites local potters, restaurants, and businesses to support our neighbors in need and raise awareness about food insecurity. Each dinner ticket includes a handcrafted bowl, along with a simple meal of soup, cheese, an apple, and bread.

Every dollar raised at Empty Bowls goes directly to Foodworks, our area’s most heavily utilized food shelf program. Last year alone, Foodworks served 4,767 unique individuals across 2,027 households—that’s 3,561 adults and 1,206 children. Foodworks is more than a food shelf—it’s a welcoming neighborhood grocery store where anyone in our community can shop for nutritious food, free of charge, with dignity, choice, and respect.
