There are three ways to Support!

 

Your donation makes an even greater impact when you choose the virtual grocery bag option. Foodworks can purchase large quantities of food from the Vermont Foodbank at prices significantly lower than those at grocery stores. 

 

 

Purchase groceries and drop them off at the Flat Street side of the Latchis Theatre on event day.

Items most needed:

Non-Perishable Foods: Canned Tuna & Chicken, Peanut Butter & Jelly, Pasta & Rice, Cereal, Cooking Oil, Gluten-Free foods, Shelf-stable Dairy-free milk, Halal-Certified foods, and Ready-Made Meals (beans & rice or mac & cheese),

Personal Care & Household Items: Diapers (sizes 3-7), Baby Wipes, Toothpaste, Bath Soap, Paper Towels, Cleaning Supplies and Antibacterial Wipes.

Foodworks is more than a food shelf—it's a welcoming neighborhood grocery store at 141 Canal Street, where anyone in our community can shop for nutritious food, free of charge, with dignity, choice, and respect. Last year, Foodworks served 4,767 individuals across 2,027 households, including 3,561 adults and 1,206 children.

Your support ensures our neighbors can access free, high-quality food and household staples, whether they need help for a short period of time or are facing a longer-term challenge, as rising housing costs, food prices, and unexpected expenses put more of our neighbors at risk. Your generosity will make a profound difference in stocking the shelves at Foodworks and building a healthier, more food-secure community.
